Who would be better to sponsor an Average Mom with a cape than A CAPE COMPANY, Like SEW PLAIN JANE?!
Ya’ll know already I’m smitten with Sew Plain Jane and their superhero cape making abilities, so it’s a match made in heaven, Sew Plain Jane is sponsoring me for BlogHer ’12 in New York City August 2-4th!
I’m so excited!!
I want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Sew Plain Jane who makes amazing (inexpensive) homemade capes for superhero parties, corporate gatherings, deserving moms of the month here at AMWC, runners, and EVEN PETS! Did you know? Sew Plain Jane has been featured on the Today Show (my favorite) and made it into Fortune Magazine when the Caribou Coffee CEO decided to outfit his staffers with capes of their own, too. Pretty cool!
So, what’s in this for you? (I know you’re wondering…)
LOTS! In total and utter excitement, we’re going to celebrate by giving away prizes all over the place.
First, we’re throwing a Twitter party together next week, the week before the conference (next Thursday to be exact) and we’ll be giving some great prizes away to some of you! (Stay tuned for details!)
Not only that, we’re going to have giveaways at the conference, too (you won’t even need to be there to win! you’ll just have to be watching me Tweet from the conference using the #BlogHer12 hashtag!), it will be random and spontaneous and I may or may not be wearing the cape at the conference when I do it! So. I met a company just as crazy and outside-the-line coloring as I am and I love it.
