Recipe: Homemade Granola Energy Bars

I have the yummiest homemade granola energy bar recipe ever!!

They’re filled with healthy protein and are all natural and even sort of low calorie too! It is so easy to make and the kids and I love it. It’s really a wonderful healthy alternative to cookies and crackers and filling as a snack too, they were gone pretty quickly.

I made them and ate them before a long run a couple weekends ago and it was perfect with a cup of coffee.

I found the recipe in the September Runner’s World and I made a few teeny adjustments.

This was so simple, I made it with the pirates.
